5/10 Booneville

Bus departed 7.45 under sunny skies, temps in 50s quickly up to around 75. Unsurpisingly mediocre breakfast at the Hampton inn. Backtracked to the start of the KT, really nice crushed stone condition. After a quick detour on the rock island line, jason singing johnny cash, an easy 40 miles to sedalia for BBQ, then climbed up to 955'. Afternoon got a little long with rollers, sun and dirt trail but overall massa massa. Staying at circa 1905 hotel Frederick, nothing else open in town which we renamed deadville. Looking forward to shorter day tomorrow. 80 miles, 2 flats (felipe back and front).
