7.30 departure, weather perfect, breakfast worse than yesterday so 12 miles to slow breakfast/ inadequate bike shop to unsuccessfully repair tires and brakes. More history along the river today -daniel boone, lewis and clark, a roundhouse, as we head along the santa fe trail. Lots more cyclists today - touring and recreational. More mechanicals - felipe tire (fixed with an old tube as padding in the tire), lowenstein tubeless soft (with tube), jason no brakes and foody wheel with loose spokes. Only spitz remains unblemished. De-luxe baymont hotel in capitol city. Decent Mexican with a tower of margaritas,  then walked around the capitol and to the beth el shul, oldest continuously operating shul west of Mississippi.. 52 easy flat miles.
